Development Resources

The City of Elkhorn currently offers two financial assistance programs to help foster business development. 

Revolving Loan Funds

The City of Elkhorn Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) was created with Wisconsin Community Development Block Grant funds.  The Fund currently has in excess of $750,000 available to assist eligible development projects.  Low-interest loans made from this Fund are used to help finance commercial revitalization, business start-up or expansion, and industrial development that foster job creation and/or retention within

Downtown Façade Improvement Grant

This program was established for the purpose of fostering building improvements within the City’s Central Business District.  Eligible projects may receive grant funds for 50% of the project cost, subject to a $7,500 grant ceiling.
