S. Jackson Street Reconstruction - Summary
UPDATE: Construction of S. Jackson Street is complete. The portion of the project remaining is landscaping along the street.
- What – Reconstruction of S. Jackson Street from Centralia Street to Geneva Street
- Replacing sidewalks, curb and gutter, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, hydrants and driveway approaches
- Installing sidewalks and curb and gutter on south portion, south of Marshall Street to Centralia
- Why – The existing pavement and sanitary sewer have surpassed their useful life.
- When – Construction activities began the middle of April 2017 with substantial completion no later than September 15, 2017.
