Plan Commission

  • COUNCIL REP:  Ken Meinel
  • Meets the first and third Thursday of the month as needed. To view the Plan Commission Schedule including submittal deadlines, click here.
  • Members consist of seven members with at least three citizen members and an Alderman appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Council. The Alderman is a voting member. The City Engineer serves as an ex-officio member. Three year terms expire May 1.
  • The Mayor selects one Commission member to serve as presiding officer. The Commission members elect a vice-chairman annually at the first meeting.
  • The duties of the Plan Commission are found in Section 1.04-2 in the Municipal Code.
