T-Ball & Coach Pitch
Both the Co-Ed T-ball and Co-Ed Coach Pitch leagues provide a team building experience. An emphasis is placed on learning the rules and developing the skills of the game while having fun! Players are divided into teams and assigned a volunteer coach.
Registration opens in February during our Mass Registration month. Sign up during this month to receive a discount and avoid full teams. Look for information about Mass Registration on our Facebook page: Elkhorn Recreation Department.
Volunteer head coach receives 100% of child's registration fee credit at the end of the season. One per team.
LEAGUE IS BASED ON CURRENT GRADE AT TIME OF REGISTRATION:
SEASON: Practices is estimated to start the week of May 20th (weather permitting). Keep an eye on your email to receive word from your coach telling you where and when practice will start.
GAME SCHEDULE: The game schedule will be given out after practices start. Games are estimated to start the week of June 10th and run through the week of July 8th.
T-BALL:
(5K-1st Grade of school year before season starts) Games are Tuesdays & Thursdays at 5:30PM or 6:30PM in Elkhorn at Sunset Park or Tasch Park
COACH PITCH:
(1st-2nd Grade of school year before season starts) Games are Mondays & Wednesdays at 5:30PM or 6:30PM in Elkhorn at Sunset Park or Tasch Park
Practice days and times are determined by each volunteer coach.
Bring your own glove. Cleats, bat and baseball pants are not required, but allowed. A team hat and shirt will be provided.
Teammate or coach requests are accepted but not guaranteed.
